  This unique guitar strap is made with a special rose gold foil printed pink cowhide suede applied to a rust or reddish brown cowhide base strap.
  
  The intensity of the rose gold and shine will vary with the angle to the light & the source--my images were taken with natural daylight and different angles to try to capture the details in the paisley pattern--some angles the shine hides the details in the fine lines of the print!
  
  The base leather is full grain cowhide that is chrome tanned--but due to my stock, it might vary slightly from what is in the pictures, but it will be of a similar tone that works well with the decorative leather. It is split to about 6oz thick (3/32"), and a little bit of soft fuzz, but also shows some plate processing/pressing. The top grain is also slightly grain corrected, but still shows wear & tear of the life before tanning. It is supple, and is not dry or oily feel to the hand, and can roll up tightly to fit into your guitar case, with or without the cotton bag included.
  
  My standard size is 2 1/2" wide and adjusts from about 48-59" long, and this is what is pictured. I have a variation for ordering a longer version (about 52-63"), a shorter version (44"-55") and a Traveler 2" wide and shorter length.
  
  This special hide is glued and edge stitched with coordinating thread onto a smooth brown cowhide that is very supple and strong, and is 5-6oz thick (3/32"). I stitch around the front peg hole to ensure if any layer separation starts due to the stress of fitting on & off the peg, it cannot extend past the stitched area.
  
  This strap has the logo for my guitar strap specific brand, Acoustic Needle, laser etched on the adjustment strap and the back side of the main strap has my shop logo ink stamped.
  
  The main strap is hand cut to 2 1/2" wide and tapers slightly at either end, and is about 42" long (standard). I have softened the cut edges of the exposed main strap with a small bevel tool, so there is a gentle transition from the top surface to the edge.
  
  Eleven adjustment slots are cut about every 1", and the 1" wide adjustment strap loops through the chosen slot and is woven through the other slots to provide the desired length and fixes to the back pin on the guitar. I can add additional holes, or make this shorter too to help optimize your length.
  
  I cut the adjustment strap to about 22", so the overall length of the Standard can be adjusted from about 48" to 59" between the peg holes. But since I cut these myself, I can easily modify the length or spacing to get the fit that works for you. This leather will settle in with use, like all good leather does, but it will not stretch out!
  
  The holes for the front peg is punched at 5/16", and rear tab is 3/8". Each end has a small slit that ends with a small hole for a "keyhole" effect to prevent tears and to make the strap easy to install & remove. The hole and can accommodate most pegs, but remains securely in place. If you have a specific peg size you need to fit, please let me know.
  
  (Please note that each strap may vary slightly as this one pictured due to the unique finish of the hide--no two can be exactly alike).
  
  The design means the strap is only leather, and there is no metal or plastic hardware that could annoy you while you're playing, or your knock into you instrument while it's being moved or stored.
  
  I can also provide coordinating leather "laces" if you prefer to tie the strap to the neck of the guitar, rather than using a front peg. There is no extra charge for these when you order the strap, but please note in the order you want it included.
