  This listing is for a blue pull-up cowhide I'm calling "stellar blue", given its shade and natural variation within the leather due to the nature of the oil tanned "pull-up", which means the color lightens where the leather is creased or stressed. This is a harder color to find at my suppliers, though when I find it, I do get more!
  
  This is through dyed leather, so the edges and the underside are also blue, a bit lighter than the top grain surface, which has a soft hand, but smoother than nubuck. But it is not a leather if you want the strap to remain pristine, but one that shows its life--the leather already had some scuffs when I bought the hide, as well as from my normal handling and processing, but many of these can be smoothed away, too. So recommended only if you like distressed look and love broken in leather. But it is very tough, yet supple, and will hold acoustic, electric, and even bass guitars well.
  
  The main strap is hand cut to 2 1/2" wide and tapers slightly at either end, and with the adjustment strap, has about 12" adjustment range at 1" increments:
  
  There are now three length options in stock for the 2 1/2" wide version, and one 2" wide (customization possible--please ask), and all adjust by the inch:
  STANDARD is total of about 47" to 58"
  SHORTER is about 4" less, for total of about 43 to 54"
  LONGER is about 3" longer than standard, so is about 50 - 61".
  TRAVELER is 2" wide and is the shorter length, about 43"-54"
  
  Eleven adjustment slots are cut for the 1" wide adjustment strap to loop through the chosen slot weave through the other slots to provide the desired length and fixes to the back pin on the guitar.
  
  I cut the adjustment strap to about 22", with about 18" to the peg hole itself from the first slot it's looped into.
  
  Since I cut these myself, I can often modify the length or spacing to get the fit that works for you (limit is size of the hide/strap blanks I have on hand). Or you can add more peg holes in this adjustment strap for finer adjustment as you wear it in.
  
  The holes for the front peg is punched at 5/16", and rear tab is 3/8", unless you request otherwise. Each end has a small slit that ends with a small hole for a "keyhole" effect to prevent tears and to make the strap easy to install & remove. The hole and can accommodate most pegs, but remains securely in place. If you do have a specific peg size you need to fit, please let me know when you order.
  
  The design means the strap is only leather, and there is no metal or plastic hardware that could annoy you while you're playing, or your knock into you instrument while it's being moved or stored. And I have softened the cut edges with a small beveler, so there is a gentle transition from the top surface to the edge.
  
  I can also provide coordinating leather "laces" if you prefer to tie the strap to the neck of the guitar, rather than using a front peg. There is no extra charge for these when you order the strap, but please note in the order you want it included.
