DetailsThis Leather Lunch Bag, named "Gaselli in the House" is made with thick cowhide deeply embossed with a "hornback" alligator pattern for the front & back and the flat straps. The sides are a designer dark green (slightly mottled) patent lambskin which looks and feels like liquid. It's amazing.
Can a lunch bag be called sexy? Yes, I think so.
Or the colors may remind you of the 'gator swimming thru a swampy water.... but no teeth in this one.
The style was inspired by the traditional brown paper lunch bag, but of course it would be a lovely purse or small shopping tote!
Both leathers are very soft on the inside of the case, so it won't scratch any contents, and being real leather, it can stand up to a lot of use, naturally & gracefully, and only improves with age.
The bottom is a thick top-grain black cowhide for stability and durability.
The base (and top) measures 6" x 6", and the bag stands 8" high. The straps are about 1/2" wide and 9" long, and are very comfortable for the hands. The top of the bag stays securely closed with a strong low-profile sewn-in magnetic clasp, which is detailed with the same patent green leather as the sides.
