DetailsThis listing is for the STRAP LOCK strap part only for the genuine Schaller S-Lock strap locks that are their latest design with a wheel nut that has a set screw. I requested this option a couple years ago when I first bought some sets to stock, and at the time they said they couldn't do this, but now they do!!!
With option to purchase only the Locks, you can have a finish that matches a new or different strap and not have to spend extra money on the hardware mounted on the guitar itself & have parts you don't need! It's not quite half the price of the full set, but a significant savings over a full set for just the lock buttons. But these only work if you have S-locks already installed. Please see my listing for the full sets if you need all of the hardware in the set.
Each package has 2 strap locks as received from the Schaller factory in Germany in their branded packaging intended for the front and back on one strap. I have decided to NOT OPEN any of these, but am using photos from my lock sets listing to show the lock parts in detail and against other leathers. You'll be receiving them as shown in their Schaller factory sealed bags.
My intent in offering them is as an option to matching the lock to your new guitar strap--but of course some options still look better with your instrument's hardware than what is normally found, too!
I also am offering four of the harder to find finishes that suit my many different leathers well. Schaller makes seven (7) finishes, and nearly all stores stock the basic Nickel & Chrome, but unlike the sets where I have 5 options, I am currently carrying 4 finishes:
>Ruthenium
>Satin Chrome
>Satin Pearl (more golden vs. satin chrome)
>Black Chrome
(Please note that I did not get the Gold locks only, but they are available in the sets. But if there are requests, I can add them!)
I may not be able to offer as competitive of pricing with many traditional retailers that can purchase & ship in bulk for deeper discounts, but they also rarely stock these finishes. My price on these harder to find finishes has a minimal margin for myself, but I try to ensure I cover my costs with conversion rates and fees in mind so I can continue offering these options along with my straps for you.

Pricing and ordering:
If you order the locks along with your new guitar strap from me, there will be no additional shipping for the locks, so if you've been charged additional shipping fee in the order, I will refund overage.
If the finish you want is out of stock, there is about a 4 week lead time for me to replenish, so please do let me know if you want one when you order a strap, and I can note to refund you the shipping when the strap locks are in stock and you order the set, or set up a custom order to capture that with ship date accounting for my time to receive these from Germany.
But if you order the locks on its own, and I cannot combine the items e.g. another order placed after you ordered a strap & before I shipped it, you will be responsible for the shipping as calculated.

I only use your address for shipping, and only contact you regarding your order (usually per Etsy convo), or from conversations that you have initiated.
I respect your information, and do not share it with anyone, outside of what is necessary to create your order's shipping label--and nearly all are via Etsy labels, so it's information you have already placed in the Etsy system.

Most guitar straps & even other items can have a name, image or some small message added to them via silk screen, laser etching. I have created a listing "custom artwork on plain leather strap" for this on guitar straps, but please convo me if you're interested in this option on other items, or have other questions.
