  This leather guitar strap is made with two layers of leather, a base black cowhide, and a full covering of both the main strap and the adjustment strap of a unique glitter-like effect that is smooth and does not shed glitter (versus other less expensive options with colorful layer only up to the slots & not over the adjustment strap--but do message me if you prefer that & I can make a custom order for you). The combined leathers are over 8oz, and very well suited to support any acoustic or solid body instrument.
  
  The two options are Blue or Gold. The Blue is doesn't present as strong a color change as the Gold, but it still has many shades that appear in different light and angles. The Gold glimmers greens, blues, and reds in nearly any light condition.
  
  The leather is glued and edge stitched, and serpentine stitching goes around each of the slots, and the peg button holes also have stitching, to ensure if in the unlikely event that there is a glue failure, it will be very limited area affected.
  
  The overall length of this 2 1/2" wide strap as shown is adjustable from about 48" to 58". The main strap is about 42" long, and there are 11 slots are spaced 1" apart for adjusting by weaving the 1" wide adjustment strap. This narrower adjustment strap has its hole about 18" from slot to its rear peg hole when installed.
  
  To show off as much of the glitter as possible, the main strap tapers only from 2 1/2" from 5" to the front end to about a 1 1/2" radius for the front peg end, and just slightly on the slot end.
  
  The 1" wide adjustment strap is made with the same leathers as the main strap so it can weave through the adjustment slots easily, but it is still firm, and will not stretch.
  
  The peg holes are 5/16" in the front, and 3/8" on the adjustment strap, with a small "keyhole" feature to ease the leather over the peg/strap button without forcing.
  
  If you need another size of strap or peg holes, please message me, and I will do my best to accommodate. I only have a limited supply of this special leather, so my pricing is based on my "standard" length range, but as I make these myself, I can often make different lengths or widths--pending how much leather I have available, and would make a custom order for you. I may also be able to provide this as an overlay just up to the slots, as many of my straps are, which would also be a lower price point.
  
  With both the Blue and Gold, the base is black suede, so the cross section of the strap is dark grey/black. The main cowhide is not as dark in the cross section as it is on the grain (which you don't see), or the flesh/underside, that you do see.
  
  I will stamp my store brand logo on the underside of the strap, since laser etching won't show on the flesh side very well.
  
  This design means the strap is only leather, and there is no metal or plastic hardware that could annoy you while you're playing, or your knock into you instrument while it's being moved or stored.
  
  I can also provide leather "laces" if you prefer to tie the strap to the neck of the guitar, rather than using a front peg. And if you have a specific peg size you need to fit, please let me know. There is no extra charge for enlarging the peg holes or for the ties when you order the strap, but please note in the order if you want any of those changes.
