DetailsI call this simple still my "Wayfarer Wallet", as suits fast and uncomplicated needs for a quick exit from any situation... This folds, but doesn't have a billfold per se, but paper currency or receipts can fit on either side between the liner and outer leather, and two distinct slots for cards.
Most leathers used are Italian vegetable tanned leathers, though US tanned cowhide and Water Buffalo are in this listing.
The wallet open is 6 3/8" (16.2cm) wide and 4 1/8" (16.2cm) tall.
I hand cut and trim all the pieces, and the stitching is with coordinating color of bonded nylon thread on my industrial machine. And all the edges are sanded smooth and hand burnished to a semi-gloss or glossy sheen. Among the cowhide and bison, I also use Shell Cordovan and other horse leather--which is stronger and smoother than cowhide, and is utilizing a resource more commonly used in Europe and other parts of the world rather than adding to the waste stream.
I have been acquiring new leathers, and will be listing other new colors. There are many other makers of wallets in fine leathers in the more typical shades of brown and black, but I am staying with my aesthetic, in which I enjoy color and pattern, and not just doing a "me too" product. My color choices and combinations are inspired by nature, as well as local sports teams.
The current variations are, as shown left to right in the photos and noted in the images are cowhide unless otherwise noted:
WF-1: "Marbled" Sage Green Shell Cordovan exterior with Natural Horse Rear* interior--please note that the exterior may vary from the one shown for an order--I can provide new photo on request until I can update the listing with any inventory build!
WF-2: Black Waxed** Olive exterior with olive lining and black bison card slots [SOLD]
WF-3: Brown Water Buffalo exterior and interior (matte and "dry" feel as compared to all others)
WF-4: Coral Horse Rear* exterior with Wickett & Craig Glazed Harness interior (photo is representative of what I can make to order!)
WF-5: Navy "cordovan finish" calfskin exterior and lining, with Black Waxed* Green card slots [SOLD]
*The Horse Rear (butt) is actually outside the "Shell" region, but is still high quality and denser, stronger & smoother than cowhide.
**The "Black Waxed" is literally a wax overlay on the leather--the more brushing & polishing, the more the color shows thru... The wax does not leave residue on hands or fabric, though--so no worry of transferring black to your pants from pulling this wallet out of your pocket or bag, especially since I have already removed most of it.
I have also laser etched my shop logo "B8C" on an inside corner of the wallet. And please note, any items shown with the wallet are not included.
Shipping: The wallet will be in a linen or cotton bag for all classes. For within US, if you choose the FREE First Class option, it will be inside a small shipping box to ensure the rigidity so your wallet arrives as pristine as when it leaves my studio. If you upgrade to priority, the price is for a small flat rate box, but I will compare price to using my regular box, pending what's the best price for your location (I will refund any overage back to you, for upgrade or international!).
If you want special gift wrap, please message me--I will wrap in tissue, as well as include the bag in the gift box, but this will need to go into a regional rate box, and will be more expensive for not only the wrapping charge, but the shipping change. But I can provide you a quote and make this a custom order for you.

I only use your address for shipping, and only contact you regarding your order (usually per Etsy convo), or from conversations that you have initiated.
I respect your information, and do not share it with anyone, outside of what is necessary to create your order's shipping label--and nearly all are via Etsy labels, so it's information you have already placed in the Etsy system.

Most guitar straps & even other items can have a name, image or some small message added to them via silk screen, laser etching. I have created a listing "custom artwork on plain leather strap" for this on guitar straps, but please convo me if you're interested in this option on other items, or have other questions.
