DetailsThese strips are from 5-6oz oil & veg tanned cowhide leathers I use for guitar straps, and are basically scrap from that process.
I am selling in bundles of 5, so if you order 1 item, it will be of 5 strips.
Each is 1/2" wide and average 18" long, and none less than 16". The leather is shy of 1/8" thick (5/64 to 3/32")--five pieces is just under 1/2". These are ideal if you are wanting straps for key fobs or tags. and connecting/joint strips, as these are perfect for 1/2" buckles (shown in example). The leathers are medium temper--not stiff or too soft.
The vast majority are this pull-up distressed brown, my most popular guitar strap, I refer to as "cowboy". But I also work with different shades of browns, black, even blue, green, and red-wine, and some are smoother or more distrissed/pull-up look than others, and unless you specify a color preference, you may get a mix.
All these leathers I do laser etch on my GlowForge without issue for my products--they are mainly oil tanned, though some are vegetable tanned. All are dyed & tannery finished. (If you want natural, undyed leather strips, or different widths, please message me! I have a lot of leather available to work with!).
I have set up variation for either all "cowboy" or "random" and will be first class shipping (unless makes more sense for something else).
I have set this up for that Quantity of One (1) is 5 strips, which is 2 ounces on its own, and with the box and packing slip, is 4oz for USPS first class postage, which should be about $3-4 pending your location in the US. If you want to know about international shipping, please ask....
If you order more Qnty 4 (or 20 straps), I will contact you if the shipping can be adjusted if you can get a partial refund.... I am including a small handling fee as I want to keep your cost as close to actual as possible but cover my time to pack & post. -

I respect your information, and do not share it with anyone, outside of what is necessary to create your order's shipping label--and nearly all are via Etsy labels, so it's information you have already placed in the Etsy system.

Most guitar straps & even other items can have a name, image or some small message added to them via silk screen, laser etching. I have created a listing "custom artwork on plain leather strap" for this on guitar straps, but please convo me if you're interested in this option on other items, or have other questions.
