  This all leather guitar strap is made with a "chameleon" purple to green color changing foil print scale pattern on a thin black cowhide which is layered over a black cowhide strap. The pattern has solid foil scales mixed with those made of tiny dots, so the foil catches the light and eye, so it glistens more than just reflects light back. But the chameleon effect is it can appear green and nearly black at certain angles, and even flashes red at times, which I've tried to capture in the photos. The section of the pattern used represents the top and side of a python, but not a type to be found in any existing jungle...
  
  Alas this is the LAST of this leather that I have, or my supplier has! So this 2" wide strap that is adjustable from about 44" to 54" (peg hole to peg hole). is indeed OOAK.
  
  The maximize the chameleon the 2" strap tapers only at 5" from the the end to about a 1 1/2" radius for the front peg end, on the slot end only small radius to ease the corners.
  
  This exotic finish leather is glued & edge stitched to the 6oz oil tanned cowhide with black thread, leaving the adjustment strap and slot area to show off the main strap cowhide.
  
  The main strap is 38" long, with nearly 27" covered with the chameleon leather. 11 slots are spaced 1 inch apart to allow adjustment between 44 and 54".
  
  The holes for the pegs are punched at 5/16" in the front, and 3/8" on the 1" wide adjustment strap, and a small slit ends with a small hole at the top of the slit to prevent tears & the "keyhole" effect makes the strap easier to install & remove, and can accommodate most pegs. The firm leather and stitching around the front peg hole helps the strap to remain secured once it's fitted fully in place.
  
  The 1" wide adjustment strap is made with the same leather as the main base strap and it weaves through the slots easily for the fit you need, but the leather is still firm enough to not stretch with most instruments. The edges of the main leather are trimmed with a small radius bevel tool to soften the look. The hide is through-dyed, s the color the edges is same as on its soft suede split underside.
  
  I've laser etched my logo onto the adjustment strap close to the peg hole.
  
  This design means the strap is only leather, and there is no metal or plastic hardware that could annoy you while you're playing, or your knock into you instrument while it's being moved or stored.
  
  I can also provide leather "laces" if you prefer to tie the strap to the neck of the instrument, rather than using a front peg. And if you have a specific peg size you need to fit, please let me know. There is no extra charge for enlarging the front hole, or adding an extra one on the adjustment strap (same size or smaller), or for the ties when you order the strap, but please note in the order if you want any of those changes.
