This is a one of a kind leather purse made from a very unique goat skin: gold lame printed in a swirl & line pattern on a buff colored goatskin that has a soft suede finish. Fun contrast of the soft feel & look of the buff leather with the smooth & shiny lame. This hide is produced in Italy, and it's very soft & supple thinner leather that is much stronger than other hides of same thickness!
The body of the bag (flattened) is about 9" across and over 9" high w/ top band. The body is pleated at the top & bottom to create a shape that disguises how much it can hold--about 6x6x4 in volume!
The olive green cowhide top band (7 1/2" x 2" high) is lined with buff lambskin, and closes via a small tab with buttonhole over a vintage brass button. The button hole is cut with enough ease so it can be closed & opened with one hand!
The cross-body strap is buff colored cowhide, about 48" long (for average height/size), and can be adjusted via a brass buckle. It's glued and double stitched between the top band & facing. If you want the strap longer or shorter, please let me know when you order.
Please note that the lame was a bit challenging to capture in photos--the photo on my scooter seat is the most accurate color for the top band). The lame is more subtle in person, and you see the pattern rather than the glitz, but under bright lights, it can hold its own in Studio 54 ;-). I doubt I'll ever see this leather finish again, and this hide was only large enough for this purse and one small zippered "round up" case, not yet listed.
