  This smooth red ochre leather guitar strap has an overlay of an amazing holographic embossed croc cowhide. The red ochre color of the strap pulls out the orange and red tones of the croc, but the depth of the embossing enhances the color shifts of the holographic finish from golds to greens to blues and oranges, and often the edges appear green shifting to yellow and orange-red in the center of the scales...
  
  The various photos try to illustrate the color shifts as the leather moves, and how the lighting alters the appearance with the depth of the scales, but really photos cannot do this leather justice. The finish is very smooth, and the scales provide texture and additional color variation. The base leather does show redder in the pictures than in person, and is a thick cowhide that is not through dyed (as shows white in cross section), but is a good depth on both the grain and the flesh side (detailed in 8th image, detailing central area of the croc and the underside with the adjustment strap head and woven thru first few slots) and will wear very well and with minimal stretch.
  
  This special leather is glued and then edge stitched with a coordinating green thread, which is also used around the front peg hole, to ensure if the glue fails under stress of placement on/off pegs, the separation is limited to a small area.
  
  The croc leather is relatively firm, but still twists and rolls easily. The red ochre base leather is soft and supple, but should still not stretch with a solid body instrument. The flesh side (underside) is trimmed so it's more like a garment suede, and ideal if you don't like your strap sliding off your shoulder.
  
  The leather is hand cut 2 1/2" wide and tapers slightly at either end, is about my standard length, and as show is 51 1/2" peg hole to peg hole, and it adjusts from 47.5 to 57.5".
  
  Twelve adjustment slots are cut about every 1", and an adjustment strap loops through the laced to provide the desired length and fixes to the back pin on the guitar. Another peg hole can be added in the adjustment strap, or a shorter adjustment strap made on request, too, if a specific length is necessary that doesn't fall on these 1" increment range.
  
  This design means the strap is only leather, and there is no metal or plastic hardware that could touch you while playing, or your knock into you instrument while it's in its case or stand.
  
  If you want this for solid body, and concerned about the base leather not stretching, I can add some of the croc around the peg hole on the adjustment strap to eliminate risk of the hole stretching out of shape, but as-is, this is unlikely.
  
  Please note: I am limited on stock of this grass green leather, I do have more of the croc, and other color leathers if you want a different size or color combination.
