  This guitar strap is made with a very unique lamb skin that has been laser cut in a small leopard pattern, so its pattern is created by shade, depth, and textural differences--smooth in most areas, but seuded where it has been etched by the laser, which doesn't reflect the light, and thus appears darker. But each section I cut will very slightly, though will be as close to this strap as pictured as possible.
  
  This calfskin is applied over a thick but very supple smooth black cowhide, and is glued & edge stitched with black thread that is also around the front peg hole. The adjustment slot area has been left to show off the main strap cowhide. My Acoustic Needle logo is laser etched between the end of the patterned hide and the first slot.
  
  The main strap is 2.5", tapering down to about 2" at the front peg hole, and less of a taper to about 2.25" on the slot end.
  
  The 1" wide adjustment strap is made with the same leather as the main strap so it can weave through the adjustment slots easily to adjust fit, but it is still firm, and will not stretch, and has been laser etched with my logo.
  
  All the edges of the main leather are trimmed with a small radius bevel tool to soften the look. The cowhide has a soft suede split underside, so it will not readily slide out of position on your shoulder.
  
  The overall length of this strap as shown is adjustable from about 48" to 58". The main strap is about 42" long, and the 11 slots are spaced from about 29" to 40" from the front peg hole. The adjustment strap is 18" from slot to its rear peg hole when installed. (I refer to the front peg hole being on the main strap, and the rear is the adjustment slot).
  
  The holes for the pegs are punched at 5/16" in the front, and 3/8" in the back, and a small slit ends with a small hole at the top of the slit to prevent tears & the "keyhole" effect makes the strap easier to install & remove, and can accommodate most pegs. The firm leather and stitching around the front peg hole keeps strap to remain secured once it's fitted fully in place.
  
  This design means the strap is only leather, and there is no metal or plastic hardware that could annoy you while you're playing, or your knock into you instrument while it's being moved or stored.
  
  I can also provide leather "laces" if you prefer to tie the strap to the neck of the guitar, rather than using a front peg. And if you have a specific peg size you need to fit, please let me know. There is no extra charge for enlarging the peg holes or for the ties when you order the strap, but please note in the order if you want any of those changes.
