Butterfly Wing Technicolor Leather Guitar Strap

  This unique guitar strap is made with a very colorful large scale print of butterfly wings on sheepskin, which is layered onto dark emerald green cowhide. The colors lend themselves to more technicolor realm than most found in nature, but it is a bright and fun strap, but it is not shiny, or reflective, just colorful!
  
  The sheepskin is glued and edge stitched with dark green thread, and edge coat finish is applied to blend the layers, including the keyhole for the peg on the front end of the strap.
  
  The cowhide is very supple and soft, so will be very comfortable to wear, as well as rolls up tightly as necessary for storage. The nature of the sheepskin, which is thicker than lambskin, is that the hide is "loose" and thus will sometimes appear to wrinkle, but this is inherent to the type of hide, and not due to any workmanship issues.
  
  The main strap is hand cut to 2 1/2" wide and tapers slightly at either end, and is about 42" long. I have softened the cut edges with a small beveler, so there is a gentle transition from the top surface to the edge.
  
  Eleven adjustment slots are cut about every 1", and the 1" wide adjustment strap loops through the chosen slot and is woven through the other slots to provide the desired length and fixes to the back pin on the guitar.
  
  I cut the adjustment strap to about 22", so the overall length can be adjusted from about 48" to 60" between the peg holes. But since I cut these myself, I can easily modify the length or spacing to get the fit that works for you. This leather is just over 0.08" (2mm) thick, and will settle in with use, like all good leather does, but it will not stretch out with use!
  
  The holes for the front peg is punched at 5/16", and rear tab is 3/8". Each end has a small slit that ends with a small hole for a "keyhole" effect to prevent tears and to make the strap easy to install & remove. The hole and can accommodate most pegs, but remains securely in place. If you have a specific peg size you need to fit, please let me know.
  
  I have also stitched around the front peg hole to ensure the layers don't separate with repeated install/removal from the peg.
  
  The design means the strap is only leather, and there is no metal or plastic hardware that could annoy you while you're playing, or your knock into you instrument while it's being moved or stored.
  
  I can also provide coordinating leather "laces" if you prefer to tie the strap to the neck of the guitar, rather than using a front peg. There is no extra charge for these when you order the strap, but please note in the order you want it included.
  
  The narrow adjustment strap is laser etched with my Bansai8 Creations logo--this has been gently washed to remove the soot from the process.
