Celery Green Mongolian Curly Lamb and Pewter Leather Sporran

Celery Green Mongolian Curly Lamb and Pewter Leather Sporran

Ask a question

This sporran style bag is made with pewter cowhide and celery green curly haired Mongolian lamb front piece, and the flap is accented with a nickel-finish Celtic style ivy button, which is secured thru the flap with small leather strip stitched down.

The genuine curly Mongolian lamb was re-purposed from a garment that was never worn

The flap is lined with a special silver foil glitter effect on light green cowhide.

The curly lamb hair is very silky and soft, and is up to 7" long, making the empty sporran nearly 11" tall and 9" across. The sporran is basically a 8" diameter circle for the front and back, with a 6" wide flap to secure your contents. The 2" gusset provides a lot of capacity for the bag (some shots it's stuffed with a terry washcloth), and the contents are kept secured with a strap from the front to a snap and the back. Closed it keeps the top snug, yet when unsnapped, it allows ease of access to the contents. The gusset folds tight with an elastic cord run thru grommets, and this can be adjusted or removed as desired.

The 6" wide flap easily stays closed due to its design and the weight of the button, and it is top stitched and edge stained in black to coordinate with the lining.

The back includes two small d-rings to affix a strap or sporran chain, as well as a strap so a belt up to 2" wide can loop through.
