A raven taking wing is surrounded with shades of blue paisleys and swirls in this machine embroidered pattern on light red-brown lambskin, and the body & strap of the bag is a robins egg blue cowhide, accentuating the embroidered design.
The satchel stands 10" high, over 7 1/2" wide, and the gusset is 2" deep between stitching to provide capacity to carry a lot of necessities! The flap is lined with a lighter blue pearlized soft cowhide, which is used for the surround of the strong. low-profile magnetic snaps on the flap and bag front. A layer of padding is sandwiched between the embroidered leather (which has rolled over edges) and the flap lining.
The cowhide used for the bag & strap is strong, but is quite supple and soft on the hand, both the top finish and the split underside.
The buckle portion of the strap is 1" wide to best fit the cross bar of the unique round antique brass buckle. The adjustable portion of the strap is 3/4", and adjusts every 1 1/2" from approximately 40" to 51" for single shoulder or cross-body wear. If you desire a longer fit, please add a comment in the order and I can modify the strap length to suit.
There is a small antique brass snap hook on the inside to serve as a key keeper, and the strap and embossed logo band are accented with antique brass rivets.
Please note this bag carries my "o:WILBUR" logo--this is a new line, but is still all designed and hand fabricated by myself in my Puget Sound studio.
